Einstein Coat - A Simple but really interesting pattern

I finished the Einstein Coat by Sally Melville (Ravelry: Einstein Coat pattern by Sally Melville), and actually love it! It’s a super simple project, but still interesting in the way it is constructed. You begin by knitting the bottom of the coat all the way around, then pick up stitches to knit the other pieces. This results in only two seams at the arms. I used Bakelite buttons from the 50s that I got on Etsy.

I’ve made quite a few of these as baby gifts, but never one for an adult!

Yes! I want to see photos, too.
You show us yours and I’ll show you mine. LOL I made one a year ago in a mini KAL with the ladies in my knitting group up north. I haven’t worn mine yet since I’m waiting for all of us to get together again so we can wear them all at the same time for our group shot.

Amazing! I love it!

Here’s mine. My feet were included in that photo on purpose since our knitting group was also participating in a Traveling Socks project. Those were my finished socks.
