Refreshalong: Arcade Cap Chat

I once ordered something that had to go thru Maumee, Ohio. Maumee is 45 minutes from my town. You can’t spend 2 days walking the whole town of Maumee without leaving it for Perrysburg, or Toledo, or one of the other suburb communities. What did my package spend 2 days doing in a Maumee warehouse? And why? I have never figured it out. Good Luck. Hope you get you package sooner rather than later.

Probably waiting for the color Chalk & Plum to be re stocked so I can order 2. I really want to try the Nua, the combination of fibers in it is so intriguing.

Yikes, meant to delete that, I already received the Nua in plum, gorgeous. Will start soon.

are you supposed to keep moving the stitch marker up every row? First time I’ve knitted the round. i left it at the first row I knitted? :frowning:

I’m new to the Lounge but just wanted to respond to a “new knitter in the round”. It really broadens your horizons in knitting! Hopefully you have already found the answer. You slip the markers on the needles. You will eventually have a marker for the beginning of the round and then you will have two more. One as you start the Arches Panel (Arch cable) and one at their end. This is a great cap! When you get to dec3 and dec4 read and do the directions one step at a time. On dec4 I literally wrote them out line by line from comma to comma. However they really are much easier than it looks!

Thank you! Very helpful

So I’m way behind with the hat, but loving the yarn and the pattern. I’m on round 10 of the body. When I do the dec.4, do I repeat the whole thing or just what’s in the [ ]. Any help appreciated! Loving the photos too.

Yikes! Three days ago! I hope someone else already answered! You repeat the part in the brackets!! Most of this is slipping and passing! Carol has a video on MDK for this too! Hope you finish!!

Thank you! I was looking at it every day trying to see something different from the day before. Now I know…!

A little late but I finished it and like it very much. Now, on to the Transom cardigan!

I finished my Arcade Cap more than a week ago, but forgot to come show it! I mailed it to my granddaughter for a late Birthday /slash/ first car congratulation gift and she texted yesterday and said she loves it and can’t wait for Winter to wear it! LOL

I live in Dallas, TX so it is too hot to wear anything right now! LOL

I used stash yarn, Debbie Bliss Ecobaby DK Cotton blend and it is almost the same color as the pattern model.I really love it and now want to make one for myself!
