This class was very wonderful! I loved learning Cecelia’s background and thought processes behind sequence knitting. She’s a fantastic teacher and I left with a wealth of info as well as increased confidence on what amazing knits I can create going forward. Big thanks to all for organizing this event.

Thank you!! We always love Cecelia’s classes!

If anyone missed out on the class, it will be available to purchase [here](https://www.moderndailyknitting.com/shop/sequence-knitting-virtual-workshop-with-cecelia-campochiaro/) through the weekend (don’t forget to use your MDK Society coupon!)

Who’s making the [Hamaya](https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/hamaya) shawl? Or the [Parallelogram](https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/parallelogram-scarf-or-wrap) scarf/wrap? Let’s chat about them!

I have the [Corrugated Shawl](https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/corrugated-shawl) on deck to cast on at some point…I may have to move it up in priority 🥰

I’m making the Parallelogram. After reading some of the past posts on MDK and on Ravelry, I cast on 121 stitches (using long tail cast-on, maintaining relaxed tension), to make it a little bit wider. I’ve done about 7 or 8 rows and I’m not crazy about the floats when changing colors.

The Field Guide says: “When changing colors, bring the new yarn up and to the right of the yarn just used to twist the yarns and prevent leaving a hole.” I tried actually twisting the yarns but that did not look right. So I’ll just continue to float the yarn and see if it becomes less noticeable as the scarf gets longer.

The knitting is easy and addictive and the fabric is soft and squishy!

She showed a pdf she said was part of our downloads. Maybe 2 pages and had a chart. I cannot find it. That was a quick 3 hour class of exciting math and grids!

In the end I found them not noticeable when wearing it if that helps.
