I am a brain cancer survivor with 5 children. My Grandma’s friend taught me to knit, purl and cable. She didn’t teach me how to cast on or off. I took a class about 18 years ago and the only time I stopped was about one year during the cancer thing. I resumed and haven’t stopped.
