My Mom is person who taught me to knit when I was a teenager. Always enjoyed it. When our daughter was born she had so many little sweaters. Then we had a jewelry craft store in Stowe, VT for 25 years and were very busy so I didn’t knit as much as I would like. Was able to learn to spin though. After we moved to NC I went to a yarn store while we were doing a craft fair in Southern Pines, NC and they introduced me to Ravelry and that really opened up my world. I’ve been knitting just about everyday the last 15 years!! All the video’s to help learn stitches and KAL’s and such a great community… Learning to weave now with the help of my fiber group.
We are semi-retired now but still have our jewelry craft business; which is slow right now with the Covid-19 virus. More time to play with fibers. Wherever we travel I look for a LYS-it is so much fun.
