Knitter, birder, and amateur musician. My grandmother taught me to knit when I was 7 years old. Like a lifelong friend, it comforts, stimulates, and makes me happy. MDK has become my Local Yarn Shop. I visit the shop every Saturday morning, get ideas, occasionally order, and keep on knitting. My husband of 39 years enjoys watching my projects progress. I’m retired from a career in business. There is a bit of the business cycle in a knitting project–order the raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods. Knit on.
