Monochrome Pullover Help

(Apologies if this is a duplicate post - it looks like my first post disappeared)

I’ve finished knitting on my Monochrome Pullover in Brooklyn Tweed Shelter, and there is some extra fabric at the yoke - I’ve exaggerated it a bit in the photos below so you can see clearly. If I tug the sweater down it smooths out. I’m not sure whether to rip back and shorten the yoke or wait and see after I block. On the one hand, it’s supposed to be a bit oversized, and I know from my swatch that the yarn will relax with blocking and it won’t be as body-skimming, so the yoke may hang correctly after blocking. On the other hand, I’m afraid the yarn won’t hold up to ripping back after blocking.

I’m not sure how to search MDK but that was a problem that many had during the Hadley knit along.
OK, there’s this: Upsetting wrinkles in my Hadley
Hope this helps.
