Woolin in Ireland

Anyone headed to Woolin in Ireland in June and looking for a roommate? I am very close to pulling the trigger on a flight and would love a knitting friend to room with while in Dublin.

I don’t think I will be able to go this year. Went online and there is literally no place to stay! Also, the ticket is expensive. I have to wait and plan further in advance… maybe plan for next year now. :)

Did you look at bed and breakfasts or hotels in city centre or along the DART (electric rail- http://www.irishrail.ie/about-us/services/dart-commuter) or LUAS (https://www.luas.ie/)? (usually bed and breakfasts are less expensive, and I think just as nice - family-run, and the price includes breakfast) There are buses from city centre that stop at the hotel where Woollin is being held (https://www.matthews.ie/timetable.php), or you could take the DART/LUAS to Connolly station and commuter train from there to Balbriggan, where you can get a taxi the short distance to the venue. It would be worth getting a visitor Leap card, which covers your transportation on Dublin Bus, DART, LUAS, commuter rail, and Airlink - https://about.leapcard.ie/leap-visitor-card.
