Pattern recommendation for an unstructured sleeveless cardigan?

My daughter requested a sleeveless cardigan --I think she is imagining something unstructured, no buttons --any pattern favorites out there?

I’ve been eyeing Mica on WEBS yarn.com. I think it would be a great layer over jeans and a long sleeve t-shirt in my California climate. It might be something your daughter would like.

You are right. That looks good. I think she was looking for something with dropped shoulders that would almost act like a short sleeve if that makes sense. --But I like that pattern.

@marianne I like Mica a lot. Thanks for that. @wrighax what about this https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/vest-07-23

It looks easily customizable, like shorten or remove pockets, or change trim. There are probably a ton on ravelry.

Ooh yes. I think that is what she had in mind. I kept thinking there must be a ton as well but was having a hard time cuing the right words I think. I DID find this one if I want to go for a DK weight.
https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/carley I like the idea of learning to do pockets. I am a newer knitter so don’t yet venture in to (intentional) pattern variation much. —I do shorten and lengthen though!

Ooooh, this one is super cute!! Looks really easy too😉

That is cute too. Just FYI, I just searched on sleeveless vest. Massive amount of options but if you filter by weight that might get you more.

I’m working on Sayer by Julie Hoover. Super easy. It calls for holding two yarns but someone’s comments were about just using 1 thicker which I did. I’m using a linen silk blend. Just noticed I don’t have the yarn listed on my ravelery project so I’ll have to update it
