I haven’t done cables in a while so it took me a few rounds to figure out my cables were going the wrong way. On the Agni Y Beautyberry sock example in the field guide, it seems to me they are actually done with Cable B, since it’s cuff-down, and if you were doing toe up, you would use Cable A to make the cables go that direction. Am I right about this or am I totally confused about how to knit these cables?
You are correct -
I knit the Beautyberry sample shown in the guide - and yes, that is indeed Cable B.
Thanks Nell! I finally worked enough rows using Cable A directions to confirm without a doubt that was what I wanted to do. I tried to post this quite a few weeks ago (not sure why it took so long, although you have all been very busy bees at MDK the last month or so! I’ve definitely reaped the benefits and fun from several of y’all’s endeavors). Anyway, I’ve finished one sock and have started the second - they are a dream. So soft and luxurious.
Thanks again for your help! ~ Kim
Ackk - I mean I used Cable B until I was sure it was the way I wanted it. Like I said, it’s been a while. Thanks again for all your wonderful work and help!! ~ Kim
