Since we can’t steam block the ribbing (it will ruin it) I take my fingers and “ shape” my knit columns in ribbing by squeezing along the edges of the knit columns to even the stitches out if they look a little wonky. It really does help!
Your color work is exquisite!!!
Me too. Knit the whole thing on 2s. Barely fits but it does. I can’t wait to do another one.
Thank you. I think I finally managed to upload to FB with #s. Hope that works.
Hope you win something Lisa! (Well, actually I hope I win, too! Haha) Deb
Thanks for the tip, I’ll try that.
Finished by color chart, will start to do decreasing and move to double pointed needles now. Love the A&C videos!
It still needs to be blocked.
Mine was too tall as well so after 6 rows in the crown I reduced every row instead of every other, still at 10” it’s quite a long hat. Reducing every row was fine and didn’t affect its overall look. My row gauge was less than given so I knew my hat was going to be longer. Hope this helps!
Really beautiful colors!!!
Those colors, gorgeous!
I finished the hat with recommended Rowan Norwegian Wool and needle sizes as per pattern and I was able to make gauge. I absolutely love my new hat. Thank you

Lovely colors.
I’m on 3 and 5. Probably too small.
I love the black and white version but unclear when to use which color. Am afraid would look all jumbled if i tried 2 colors. Advice?
Setesdal hat #2 complete. Used the size 2 and 4 needles pattern called for on this one and added two additional repeats of the chart (total 140 stitches) to get good circumference. Fits great! Did not need to adjust rows.

Love this!
I’m just joining the community! I hope I am posting in the right place to introduce myself:) Just found Arne and Carlos recently, and I’m having a great time with this colorwork! I’m holding two strands of fingering weight together and using yarn frogged from a different KAL.
