Getting bigger, very addictive!
I am marling along on my swarf. So far so good.
It was so lovely at the zoom with Cecelia on Friday! So much inspiration for future projects!
This is my first KAL <3 I wound my hanks while watching the replay of the Zoom today (loved) and now on my section section. Really enjoying seeing my SWARF evolve. Fun to be in this community, and know there’s help if I need it!
I got back from my business trip and my new color had come in and so I finished Strip 1. I do like how the turquoise plays with the other colors (turquoise is a substitute for avocado).
Onward to Strip 2!
Yours is my favorite color combo so far! There have been so many great ones. I love the pastels in yours.

I got waylaid in my progress by Field Guide 9 and had to make a long sleeve version of Caligraphy cardigan.
Your color combination is beautiful!! I don’t usually go for oranges and yellows, but I absolutely love what you have chosen.
Thank you. I’m thinking of greens and blues for the back, Also though about making the back same as the front so it would be reversible.
Totally love your colors!!
That is gorgeous!
Love the colours, they really pop off the page. I might be tempted to add to my list. Gorgeous.
Wish I had thought of that! I love it.
This naturals version is simply stunning!
Front done. Had to adjust row counts vertical gauge was off, will need to go to a tall friend! On to the back.
Thank you so much Kay! I am super pleased with it and thank you so much for creating such great books with amazing designers. You have created a wonderful community.

I ordered the yarn for my Swarf, but while waiting for it to arrive got distracted by a sweater … which also happens to be a marl using la bien Aimee’s Helix and mohair silk. I got sucked into this one because I searched for yarns using Gotland wool. (I have two Gotland sheep, Miles and Olive.) I ordered the Stone and Sandstone and then had to go hunting for the mohair silk. The different fibers interact in interesting textural and reflective ways in addition to color. In all, I wound 4.6 km of yarn over the weekend and am well into the yoke pattern. The Swarf yarn arrived today, and I am now torn. Do I bang out a Swarf or keep on sweatering along?
